HOW TO REACH THE APARTMENT
The apartment is situated in “Calle
del Paradiso”, near Rialto Bridge and The Grand Canal, a ten-
minute walk from “Saint Mark's Square”.
- From “Marco Polo”
airport you can phone for a private water taxi. It leaves from the Arrivals'
Terminal and takes you very near to the apartment. Before getting in the
taxi it is advisable to ask the driver the taxi fares because they are
usually very expensive.
- Catching the shuttle bus is much cheaper and
it takes you to “Piazzale Roma”,
that is the last bus stop.Then you can take the waterbus, line1, which
passes every 10 minutes. Get off at “San Silvestro” stop.
The stop is about 20 metres from the apartment.
- From the railway station you can catch the waterbus,
line 1, just in front of the station which takes you to “San
Silvestro”.
- If you arrive at “Piazzale
Roma” by car, park the car in one of the parking areas near
there and then catch the waterbus, line1. Get off at “San
Silvestro” stop.
Venetian transport is called ACTV.
